# SBU Honey (BHNY) Token

BHNY was minted for fair distribution; created for governance, farming, and utility. No centralized organization owns or controls BHNY. All the BHNY currently in circulation was acquired via fair distribution — purchased from a Uniswap v2 BHNY liquidity pool. “Fair distribution” also means that there were no tokens set aside for founders, insiders, VCs, advisors, or influencers — the entire available supply was placed into the initial curve.

BHNY will be widely used throughout the SBU DAO ecosystem (i.e, Voting, Farming, Auction, Honeypots, BHNY transaction tax, Treasury, and more).
